The Arvalem waterfalls are located at Arvalem, about 2 kms from Sanquelim and 8 kms from Bicholim, in Valpoi taluka, North Goa. It is the second largest waterfall in Goa. and attracts travellers and revellers around the clock. The waterfall has a height of 70 feet and is a very scenic and beautiful picnic spot. The water body provides a full view to those desiring to observe eye catching beauty.

The falls are at highest glory during the monsoon season. During this time, the falls looks stunning with the thunderous gush of water cascading down the rocky terrain of the mountain behind it. The monsoon rain roils the water of this waterfall into a muddy brown color and makes it look more interesting. It has a lot of greenery all round with dense forestation around the site. It forms a sizeable lake at the bottom, which offers a sizeable temptation to seasoned swimmers.
