The Holy Cross church is situated in the village of Verna in Salcette taluka, South Goa. The present Church building was constructed in 1612. It has been said that prior to this, the Verna church had been constructed three times.The Holy Cross church is a large church, built in a traditional style, the facade of which overlooks the Church Square.
