Mobor beach is a beautiful located at the southernmost point of the Velsao - Cavelossim beach stretch.The beach is located close to the mouth of the river Sal. On the beach one can often see many tourists riding bicycles and taking long leisurely walks. Mobor beach is located at a distance of 18 kms. from Margao city.
Access to the beach is through a luxury resort. For this reason, tourist sometimes mistake this to be a private beach. However Mobor beach is definitely open to the public. Directly opposite the beach road is a road that leads to the mouth of the Sal river. The beach can be reached by bus from Margao, although the journey takes an hour.
