Galgibag is a large beach with large tracks of sands and plenty of Casuarina trees along its shores. Due to its location at Goa's extreme south the beach has very few visitors.From Rajbag, a road leads to the beach that only pedestrians and motorcyclist can use. The beach lies to the south of Rajbag beach, at a distance of about 45 kms. from the city of Margao.
To reach the beach by car one must first travel up to the National highway to the east and then move south again. To reach the beach from Rajbag, one can take the bridge across the river. However only pedestrians and motorbikes can use this bridge since it is narrow. There are buses to reach the beach both from Canacona and Karwar.
