Bogmalo beach is a small, beautiful beach located to the south of Vasco city at a distance of 5 kms. from it. The beach has a gentle crescent shaped curve and is safe for swimming. It originally was a small fishing hamlet but now is a growing tourist hub. Many locals in the village still depend upon fishing for their livelihood. This can evidently be seen from the large number of fishing boats that are lined up on the beach.
Bogmalo beach sports a mixture of serenity and commercialism, splashed with simple beauty where one can happily lose oneself. Despite having all modern amenities, the villagers still have still kept the simple village life alive here. Bogmalo beach can be easily reached by taking a bus from the nearby city of Vasco.
