Betul beach is located to the south of the Mobor beach,just across the Sal river. It is located at a distance of 24 kms. from Margao city. From Mobor, one can reach Betul, either by taking the ferry at Assolna or taking a boat from Mobor to reach to Betul. From Margao, one can take the road towards Cabo de Rama. Betul is a small but beautiful beach. The beach has a small lagoon and rivulet that flows to the sea. A mud road with a short descent down leads to the beach.
Most of the time the beach is deserted except for the occasional visitor. There are no major hotels in the area nor beach shacks, but accommodation is easy to find with the locals renting their houses.
