Arossim beach lies to the north of Utorda beach. It is a large sandy beach with a small rivulet running parallel to the shoreline. The beach has plenty of palm groves that offer ample shade to picnickers. The beach is located at a distance of 22 kms. from Vasco, 35 kms. from Panaji and 12 kms. from Margao.
The beach wears a deserted look most of the time, save for a single lonely shack and a few tourists sunbathing on the beach. There are buses to reach the beach from Vasco and Margao. From Vasco, you can get a taxi or rickshaw to reach the beach.
