Arambol beach is one of the most famous of the northern beaches of Goa. It is 27 kms. from Mapusa and 39 kms. from Panaji. Arambol lies sandwiched between Mandrem beach to the South and Kalacha beach to the north. The beach has both a long sandy stretch with soft white sands. To the north of the beach lie a few shacks and a rocky outcroppings. A small path to the north also leads to Kalacha beach.

The narrow road leading to the beach and is lined up with small stalls selling handicrafts, souvenirs, eat outs and garments on both sides. Sometimes finding places to park becomes difficult when the beach is crowded, especially during evenings on weekends. A few shacks are located at the spot where the road meets the beach. Many foreign tourists, mostly Russian visit this beach. Occasionally one can see locals and Indian tourists on the beach especially in the evenings.
